Welcome back to Good Morning America it’s time to meet our first quest Mr. Gable.
Cash; “Good morning Mr. Gable if you don’t mind our audience has submitted a few questions and they’d like to hear your replies but first let me introduce you to this weeks co host Patricia Parker.”
Pat; “Good morning Clark your movie Gone With the Wind has been the hallmark of my life. I’m so happy I get to be your co host, forgive me for staring I can’t help but noticing what a handsome devil you are.”
Clark; “Ha, ha, with those kinds of compliments I’ll answer all your questions with a smile. I must say, you’re not to shabby either, my lady.”
Cash; “Okay you two, this is not the Dating Game. Clark I understand that you and the Duke are starring in a new movie called ‘Way up Yonder’ would you kindly let us know what it’s all about?”
Clark; “I’d rather flirt with Pat but I guess I’m here to answer your questions. The movie is about the almost forgotten actors and actresses that live in a mansion on the other side of the Pearly Gates.”
Cash; “Excuse me Clark; we have to pause for a commercial.”

Cash; “Without further a due let’s bring John Wayne in to join us in the interview.”
Patricia greets John at the stage entrance and walks arm and arm across the stage to the interview round table. He’s a giant of a man who gives off the impression of a man of action, his distinctive voice, walk and height set him apart from the average actor. With a captive smile and a hearty handshake he introduces himself as the Duke speaking directly to me;
Duke; “Howdy Pilgrim, this must be Good Morning America glad to join ya all.”
At that we all had a good laugh then I continued with the interview;
Cash; “John, when you called me pilgrim it brought back memories of one of my favorite movies, McLintock. Do you remember what you said just before you knocked Leo off the hillside?”
Duke; “Sure do Pilgrim…‘I haven't lost my temper in 40 years; but, Pilgrim, you caused a lot of trouble this morning; might have got somebody killed; and somebody oughta belt you in the mouth. But I won't. I won't. The hell I won't!"
Clark; “Loved that one Duke, you’re what I call an actors, actor.”
Cash; “Tell me more about ‘Way up Yonder’, you start Duke and Clark you add whatever.”
Pat; Oh please do, Wow, with so many handsome guys around me I feel like I’m in the mansion up yonder.”
Duke; Well, I might mention the stars, greats like Maureen O'Hara, Vivien Leigh, Olivia Mary de Havilland, Jane Russell, Marilyn Monroe, Anthony Quinn, Bing Crosby, Bob Hope Dorothy Lamour, Joan Fontaine, Roy Rogers and Tom Mix. There are so many I can’t name them all, it would take up your whole show.”
Clark; “The movie is a continuation from life on earth through the Pearly Gates to heaven. All the pleasures, adventures and excitements experienced, the songs of Elvis Presley, all the great classics, dancers and great achievers in all forms of art, nothing is left out of this movie.”
Pat; “I’m dying to see it!”
Clark; “Well Patricia that’s exactly what you'll have to do if you want to see it.”
Cash; “Time is are enemy and we’ve run out of it, we’ll have to do this again, another time and another place.
This is Good Morning America signing off, see you again next week same time and same station.
